[article] How Generative AI Can Increase Developer Productivity Now. There are clear benefits to introducing this tech to your team, but don’t expect miracles.

[article] The Ultimate Measure of Software Development Effectiveness. The point here is that how well your team deploys can be a fairly good proxy for how the team is performing as a whole.

[blog] Swinging for the clouds: Major League Baseball keeps enhancing the game and fan experience. All the rule changes in baseball this season turned out great. Faster games, more action, and a better product. I’m glad we played a part in helping teams do more with data.

[article] Microsoft reportedly runs GitHub’s AI Copilot at a loss. I saw a denial of this claim, but it’s still a reminder that AI services are still a premium given the cost of delivering them.

[blog] In Celebration of Vittorio Bertocci. Vittorio was a special person, and anyone who got to see him speak or meet him was better off for it.

[blog] Building a Cloud To-Do React JS App On Google Cloud. Good walkthrough here that shows how to connect a few technologies to deliver a solution.
